COVID-19 had a huge impact on all three of this session’s awardees.

Pesel & Carr helped Speech Pathology Australia digitise their Speech Pathology Week, enlisting Delta Goodrem and Harrison Craig to ensure that those living with communication disabilities weren’t alienated during COVID lockdowns.

At Metro Trains Melbourne, emergency restrictions meant that corporate staff had to suddenly work from home and around 4000 frontline colleagues had to adapt to government health mandates. The Corporate Communications team stepped in with an integrated comms plan to help employees navigate the new landscape to keep Melbourne moving.

For the fastest growing airport in Australia in 2019, the future seemed bright until the pandemic grounded plans and threatened its very survival. Strategic comms would prove pivotal to guiding the Sunshine Coast Airport through the challenges.

Following these presentations, Zora Artis GAICD SCMP - herself a multiple Gold Quill winner - will share tips and tricks on how to craft a winning entry from her knowledge as an evaluator for international entries.
